From our home oven to your market basket
Sourdough Harvest started the way most good loaves do — slowly, at home, with a jar of starter on the counter and a kitchen that always smelled like fresh bread. What began as baking for family and friends grew into something bigger: a small-batch bakery serving neighbors across Metro Atlanta.
Every loaf is naturally leavened — no commercial yeast shortcuts — and given the long, slow fermentation that gives real sourdough its flavor, its open crumb, and its easier digestibility. We mix, shape, and bake in small batches, so what you pick up at the market was made by hand, hours before.
And we bake with a purpose. Sourdough Harvest is “Baking for a Cause”: a portion of our proceeds goes to colon cancer and pulmonary hypertension research — causes close to our hearts. Every loaf you take home helps.
